We're a Shopify Partner and we specialise in Shopify and Shopify Plus — it's where most growth ecommerce brands should be, and its checkout converts better than almost anything you could custom-build. The honest answer is that it depends on your starting point, traffic volume and AOV — but the leverage is enormous because conversion rate multiplies every channel at once. The average Shopify store converts around 1.4% while the top decile clears 4.7%, so the gap between average and great is roughly a 3x revenue difference on identical traffic. Moving from, say, 1.4% to 2.1% is about +50% revenue with no extra media spend. Button-colour tests are exactly why most CRO disappoints — they're tiny, they rarely reach significance, and they ignore the real friction.
