Pickfords is the UK’s largest removals and storage company, with annual turnover exceeding £60 million. A fixture of British roads with their iconic blue lorries, the brand is synonymous with dependable relocation services for domestic, international, and business clients. Amid market disruption from COVID-19, Brexit, and shifting housing trends, Pickfords sought a strategic partner to revitalise their digital performance. They turned to RiseUp with a clear brief: drive more leads, reduce acquisition costs, and unlock sustained revenue growth.
Operating in a sector heavily influenced by external forces—interest rates, economic fluctuations, and pandemic-related slowdowns—Pickfords faced the dual challenge of stabilising performance and increasing leads across three core markets. As both B2C and B2B revenue streams were affected, the need for a flexible, data-driven digital strategy became urgent.
Internally, Pickfords also wrestled with underperforming SEO due to duplicate content and outdated structure, hampering site authority and user experience.
